Sometimes can also be a game where most of the participants aren't really very skilled fundamentally and take turns trying to do moves they see on 2K while laughing hysterically in between taking turns. All this is happening while there is supposed to be an actual competitive game going on. Clown ball can make even the most skilled basketball player look bad and typically can lead to injury for players who are actually fundamentally skilled basketball players.
