pencil friend

someone you know in a class that you'd feel comfortable enough to ask if you could borrow a pencil (paper, calculator, etc), but not enough to hang out with outside of class

person: "I met this really nice girl in my chem class last week, we sit together like every day!"

roommate: "Cool, you should invite her over sometime."

person: "No no..she's strictly a pencil friend."

A term for friending anyone and anything on Facebook. Usually these rampages occur when drunk or high and home alone. It also helps if the one being friended has a hot profile picture.

Gary: "Dude when did you get so many facebook friends?"
Me: "I had a Friending Rampage after one too many beers last night."

Is used to describe ones relationship towards another individual.Basically an individual that you dont talk to but only when you see them you both only say either "hi" or "bye" towards one another.

Mike Doe is just a hibye friend because when i see him I say hi and bye and never stop to talk.
