The closer finishes what you started, but with loyalty, integrity, and consistency you couldn't muster. The closer acts as a catalyst to your ex find their inner strength, causing them to shine brighter and stronger than you ever could. Usually with regard to the one that got way.

Matt: Hey Dick, are you and Jenny will get back together? I saw her the other day, and she looks freaking amazing!
Dick: no, dude, she's with Ian now, and won't even take my calls. That dude's a closer. I don't have a chance.
