Off the Dome

a lackadaisical term to refer to someone who spoke off “the top of their head”. Not to be confused with getting brain.

Bozo 1: Hey did you say that off the dome?
Bozo 2: yeah it was off the cuff
Bozo 1: wow you must be so eclectic and interesting

Off the Gherkin

When someone or something is "off the gherkin" they are crazy, or doing something unconventional. When someone is described as "off the gherkin" they are doing something they wouldn't normally do, or something that could be considered out of character and strange.

Something that is also very cool or lit, can also be considered as "off the gherkin". Anything that is trendy, or in fashion can also be described this way.

"Oh wow Tommy is screaming in the Walmart, he is so off the gherkin."

"This function is off the gherkin."
