It is a loving therm of affection for your aunt's and uncle's to refer to a person who's gender fluid.

It's also a polite pronoun to give them if you don't even know what gender you are from day to day.

I took my neicephew to the mall, I don't care what anyone thinks they will always be my family.

Jim neric

Fictisious person. A long time ago there was this guy always screwing things up. All the town anytime a person screwed something up they would laugh and joke and say you just did a Jim neric. As time went on Jim neric was eventually shortened to Generic!!! This is where I think the word generic came from.
