Live Under A Rock

It is to be a person who lives in isolation from and has limited knowledge of what is happening in the world around them. Used to describe an ignorant or obtuse person. Usually someone who lives in the basement of their mothers house.

Someone who spends too much time playing Farmville on Facebook.

Often someone glued to their television or computer screen.

Usually brought up when someone makes a comment about a big movie that they have recently seen where the other person is oblivious to said movie.

Someone who lives in their basement and only comes out for special occasions.

"You've never heard of Obama? Where have you been for the last couple of years... living under a rock?"

"Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know about..."

"You need to get out from under that rock you've been living under!"

"Wait... you don't know about that? Are you stupid!?"
"No, I have just been living under a rock recently."

"Who is our president"
"Are you serious!? Do you live under a rock?

Xbox Live

An Internet service offered by Microsoft for their Xbox video game system, for the sake of being able to play their Xbox games online. Comes with a microphone so that you can speak to the other people you are playing with.

Sadly, most Xbox owners are not used to being able to talk to their opponents like PC gamers are. Hence the majority of the conversation that goes on often consists of "YOU MOTHER FUCKER!!! SHOOT THE FUCKING GUY!!!"

An excellent podcast put on by Luke Burbank, Jen Andrews, and Sean DeTore. The podcast stems from a radio show by the same name (often abbreviated "TBTL") that was cancelled on September 11, 2009.

Based in Seattle, Washington, it is often described as the "Seinfeld" of talk radio. Popular segments include Awesome/Not Awesome, This Day in TBTL History, Music for Your Weekend, and Cooking with Sean DeTore.

lived experience

Shit that never happened. By making up lurid tales designed to go viral activist types can spin a history of oppression in any scene, org, or society. Lived experience discounts subjectivity or just being wrong and is usually brought up after someone's claims have been debunked.

It can also refer to existential problems you do nothing about but blame others for: being poor, living in a ghetto shithole, being an addict, etc.

Like a lot of SJW jargon it was stolen from the CATT team where it refers to a failed suicide attempt in post intervention care.

"I got totally discriminated against by the racists and sexists at the lesbian vegan co-op"
"I was there and that didn't happen"
"Shut up and stop denying my lived experience"
