Pimp

Acronym for "Person in my past". Common way to refer to your former lover(s) in conversation with your current/new lover, without explicitly referring to him/her/them by name or talking about "my ex". It communicates an understanding and respect of your new partner's sensitivity for bringing up your previous lover(s) or love life.

"So, you've visited New York?"
"Yes, a while ago with a PIMP."
"A pimp??"
"Yes, a person in my past... 😌"
