The war was resolved by Olly Bolly losing at bowling, causing him to retreat back into his futile cave of Chelsea memorabilia and a cardboard cutout of Drogba.

The trend is associated with the anti-work movement and a resurgence in support for labor-centric socioeconomics, and is heavily influenced by the stagnation of wages since the end of the Cold War. However, at least part of the trend has been a result of the popularity of remote work and a reluctance to resume working in office settings, which are largely seen as wasteful and/or uncomfortable in comparison with workers' private residences.
