The Canadian Breakfast is a meal a Canadian consumes after hunting in a creek. It generally consists of a beaver's beaver, and a Nanaimo bar. Usually consumed with literal bog-water as a beverage to wash it down.

The root ball consists of an outer thin skin covering a fibrous substance resembling ginger and tasting bitter. In the middle of the root is the nut that contains the fluid that is both slightly bitter and highly nutritious.
