Mount Airy, NC. What a beautiful city, that's if you plan on retiring there. If you're planning to raise children you might as well drive 30 minutes south to winston-salem Where the only thing fun to do for teenagers is go to the mall or for the little kids is Chuck E. Cheese. A town only known for Andy Griffith. No seriously there is nothing else this town has to be proud of, they have a playhouse, a museum and a statue as small as this town in the same vicinity. Oh yeah and the autumn leaves festival, an event that happens every year on the first day of fall on main street where you can't take two steps without bumping into someone else walking in the opposite direction as you. There are barely any black people in this town, the black people here are so close it's basically like they're related. You could literally stand anywhere in town and still see Pilot Mountain.

Its biggest tourist attraction is the Pennrose Mall. Famous YouTubers from all over the country come to Reidsville to film it for their pages. The number one question is "how the hell is this place open to the public?" As it is very ripe with decay.
As Reidsville has made multiple lists for being one of the top 10 dangerous cities in NC, look at the local government and you'll see why. The Barney Fife and Roscoe P Coltrane styles of law enforcement, along with the kangaroo court should clarify that for you.
They're all about growth. Let's grow the crime rate, grow the number of empty buildings, and grow the amount of drugs. Also, the number of Dollar Generals and Mexican restaurants are growing.
Popular activities include going to Courtland Park and getting called a motherfucker by a 9 year old, shortly after stepping on a dirty needle. They are home to the Piedmont Triad's largest outdoor shooting range which spans from Barnes Street to North Scales Street.
Although once a prominent tobacco town, God left town the same day that the tobacco industry did. Neither have any intention of returning.
