SMD LEDs is a type of LED characterized by having a 3-in-1 encapsulation, meaning that it integrates all 3 colors (Red, Green, Blue) in a single system. The SMD type LEDs are mounted on an aluminum substrate and enveloped in an epoxy resin taking on a chip shape that can be mounted directly on the surface of PCBs or light strips easily.

But the actual meaning for the word is basically just saying something disrespectful to another person when your mad or dissing someone (or it could be used literary) . But how is it used in songs? In bronx drill songs they use the phrase SMD to diss their opps or in the beginning of the song you will hear "SUCK MY DICK"before rapping. Rappers like Kay flock, Sha ek, Dthang Gz, and more, uses this slang in like every single fucking song your gonna hear it. So for example let's say that you're in the gang DOA (Reyway) and the other gang your dissing is RPT (ygz) Ygz and doa dont get along so their gonna diss plenty of dead opps in their songs by using the phrase smd in the adlibs (but do not say smd to any person from the bronx its a form of disrespect and you gonna get shot lmao)
