A white guy who thinks he can rap and raps about his ex on Facebook (Ex. A guy rapping his order at McDonald’s thinking it’s cool but it’s cringy, this made the origin of the term “McDonald’s rapper”) They also link their ex back to every rap they write no matter the topic.

lyrical geniuses, such as lil pump, smokepurpp, and lil noodle ( aka yung bubblegum ), who make millions of their genius lyrics such as " d rose d rose d rose d rose d rose." also hate being called soundcloud rappers, and if their music can be found on spotify, call them spotify rappers. They normally have tons of clout and don't go broke after they buy their first versace bag.

A producer who tries to rap, but typically has less skill rapping and more talent making beats. Producer rappers are some of the best hip hop artists, however. Some examples are Kanye West and J. Cole. Being a producer rapper is admirable due to the talent it takes to be both a good producer and a good rapper.
"Then, you know, I'm not gonna name no names, but people told me, "oh, he's just a producer rapper."
"I said I wanted to rap and people said that wasn't going to work, they had this term producer rapper. It basically meant you wouldn't rap as good as the real rappers."
