Poltergasm

A haunting not caused by the dead, but rather by suppressed emotions, in this case a person's sexual frustration
Ruby: The entity in this house was born specifically out of Francine's sexual frustration. I like to call it a poltergasm. Gestures with his finger
Steve: What are you doing?
Ruby: I just drew a trademark sign with my finger, child, because I've registered the word "poltergasm." Any movie scripts you write based on your experiences here, Ruby gets a slice.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

The crappy name the Yanks gave to the first Harry Potter book, actually called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Was changed because they didn't think Americans would understand the word philosopher. Which is a good point I suppose.
Me: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is the first book in the Harry Potter series :)

American Nerd: Isn't it called Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone? :/

Me: Ugh, I hate Yanks. -.-

"Cool"
"Yes, thank goodness. This week is sure to be hell anyway, glad i don't have to fair it while sick."

Potter prone

After reading the Harry Potter series, every mention of it will cause a devastatingly long discussion about characters and events in the novels.

Generally, you are Potter prone if you do such things.
1: Hey, that guy kinda looks like Hagrid!

2: Hagrid! I love that guy. Did you know he was accused of opening the Chamber of Secrets? Did you know he had a pet spider named Aragog? Hagrid likes dragons too. He was a member of the Order of the Phoenix. Did you know he brings Harry to the Burrow when Harry turns 17? Did you know...

1: You are so Potter prone!

The Potter Effect

girl: Mom, can I hang out with you tonight? The new Harry Potter just came out and nobody's free. On second thought, maybe I'll just go out and buy the book.
