a muslim is a person who believe that there is only one god and muhammed is his last messenger.

islam does not promote violence and doent supress women it liberates women from being treated like commodities by ordering them to dress modestly. muslims beleive that jesus is a prophet of god just like muhammed is.islam deosnt force anyone to embrace it but gives the freedom of choice to whoever wants to beleive in it.for all non- muslims ot there, try to read more about islam before judging.

A person whom's religion is Islam. They support peace and not to kill the innocent. I was reading the definitions about Muslim and people have gotten it all wrong. They don't know what they're talking about. Have they even READ the Qur'an in translation, or actually STUDY Islam? They just judge a Muslim by some terrorists. I'm sorry, Osama Bin Laden or Saddam Hussein do NOT represent Islam. They show violence and hatred, thats not how Muslims roll. Theres good and bad people everywhere, so why call ALL Muslims bad? Thats just wrong.
Try watching "The Arrivals" series on youtube, maybe that'll clear up your brain.

The "root" of the word "Islam" in Arabic is SALAMA which is the origin of the words Peace & / or Submission, a submission to God and peace to all humanity. It is, thus, no wonder why the salutation in Islam is: "Al-Salamu Alaikum or Peace on You."

We wear our clothing to show that we are not pusses and are not afraid to express our opinion about everything.

Yes the Quran mostly talks about how Christianity is a wrong religion. But nowhere in the book does it say that we hate you.

Yes our brothers and sisters may be terroist but does mean we all are.

And to all the other top definition, we don’t except everything to change and be our way when we enter a new country

A religion, that's often WRONGLY accused of terrorism. Think about it...does Hitler represent how evil every Christian is....no...they people who do those attacks have no idea what being a real one of these means! Muslims are a religious group of people who can be misunderstood. Many believe Muslims are terrorists. THEY ARE NOT. A true Muslims will never harm other people. Terrorists only call themselves Muslims. If you know a Muslim you are very lucky. I believe the world shall give them a chance. They believe in God.
