The act or achievement of abandoning the conditioned self or personality and becoming one with all.

I finally achieved ego destruction and now I am an ever-expanding sphere of awareness and compassion.

1. Someone who gives a person praise so much that the person they're praising becomes a narcissist (whether he/she/they/etc. is purposefully doing it or not).
2. One of the causes for narcissism in children

Ex:
Child: I'm gonna sing a song!
Parents: Go ahead!
Child: *Ear-piercing demonic screeches*
Parents: \o/ Wow! So good! Yay! \o/
Guest (at Parents' house): I think it's time I should leave.

Ego Chaser

Ego Chasing is when an individual provokes ego to maim, tame or shame another individual.
Usually done by gaslighting and or gatekeeping.
Also can be done to make one look inferior.

"Like a bull a bull in a metador fight."

"Kyle is trying to gatekeep me from listening to my favorite artist. He's such an ego chaser."

"Karen is trying to gaslight me out of my relationship with jay. she's such an ego chaser."

The specific deity or religious persona one wishes to identify with for reasons of spiritual growth. So called, because an image of such is often displayed prominently upon one's own personal altar.

Being of a compassionate nature, the young woman felt a great affinity for White Tara and so displayed a beautiful image of her altar ego prominently in her shrine room.

Narrative Ego

The part of the ego that assumes that the events of your life are pieces of an extended narrative, with you as the focal point. You may assume that true love is out there for you. Or that there's some sort of battle for justice you must fight. Or even just that it is your lot in life to spiral into a pit of hurt and despair. Anything motivated partially by some sort of narrative precedence is a case of narrative ego. Is probably brought about by watching too much television/reading too many novels.
