Disalternative Rock

Coined by a member from the band 'Maximum Niceage', the term is used to define a genre that sits in the middle between Pop Rock and Alternative Rock musically, but is distasteful towards both, combatting their stereotypes with absurd lyrical imagery and sound effects.

Disillusionment

That one night of drunkenness wherein you find out (by accident, serendipity, or some twist of fate) that your girl friends don't exactly think you're as pretty as you think you are.

Girl: Who's prettier, Jane or me???
Friend: (pauses) You know how when someone is SO evil that even though they're really pretty they like, not look so pretty anymore? I think Jane's like that..

digilog

is used to describe a product that is older than a new version of said product. analog is older than digital and the term is made from a combination of these words. this term is used despite the fact that a product line may be entirely digital or analog.

Melanie always considered the original iPod to be digilog compared to the newest models.
