Akin to the phrase “Reading between the lines” reading between the texts is a phrase used to describe the confusion of tone and implication in texting, especially with the member of preferred sex.

She texted me “Hey” but with 2 y’s. Maybe she thinks I’m cute, but I could be reading between the texts.

Bottle Bite

Bottle Bite (noun)
A tiny cut on your hand caused by screwing a metal cap back onto a liquor bottle and your skin cops it between the cap and the metal sleeve on the bottle neck. Bonus points if you need stiches,

Common Side Effects: Sudden, irrational rage at inanimate objects, involuntary profanity (usually “F#%!” or “Ya f***in’ dog!”)

A dramatic hand inspection like you’ve just been personally betrayed

Storming off to find a Band-Aid that falls off after 2 minutes cause its so fkn hot
