Internet Walk

1. To take someone on a walk of the internet. To each follow one another from site to site.

When the internet is your home you can even take people on walks. Meet at the same sights, leave messages which site to meet at next, or comment in next, take internet walks.

The the above description is usually uneccesarry since after people have met at some site, chat, MUD, whatever, they usually exchange an IMS address like hotmail or skype or ICQ or whatever is in vogue at the time, and talk to each other there, suggestion which sites to see and visit through lines.

Also may be known as an 'Internet Stroll' which maybe some might turn into an 'Internet Troll Stroll', I hope not, but at least I'd have coined that term too, if it happens to take off. (See below)

------------- Note this term, and its meaning has been invented, just now, by me, and I'm not joking so if you ever see this thing take off, you know who wrote it first.

Internet Movie Database

The Internet Movie Database (abbreviated IMDb) is an online database of information related to films, television programs, and video games, taking in actors, production crew, fictional characters, biographies, plot summaries, and trivia. Actors and crew can post their own résumé and upload photos of themselves for a yearly fee. U.S. users can also view over 6,000 movies and television shows from CBS, Sony, and various independent film makers.

Launched in 1990 by professional computer programmer Col Needham, the company was incorporated in the UK as Internet Movie Database Ltd in 1996, with revenue generated through advertising, licensing, and partnerships. In 1998, it became a subsidiary of Amazon.com, who were then able to use it as an advertising resource for selling DVDs and videotapes.

The Internet Movie Database enables any user to submit new material and request edits to existing entries. Although all data are checked before going live, the system has been open to abuse, and occasional errors are acknowledged. Users are also invited to rate any film on a scale of 1 to 10, and the totals are converted into a weighted mean-rating that is displayed beside each title, with online filters employed to deter ballot-stuffing. The site also features message boards, which stimulate regular debates among authenticated users.

Internet tough guy

One thing about internet anonymity is anybody can use the same anonymity, including people who are not internet tough guys. Tease somebody in person, and say what you're saying online in person, don't be an internet tough guy yourself.

A group of posers called a guy out for being an internet tough guy, but never said any of what they said when they were looking at the asshole.
