The phrase “I got 2 phones” originated from a song called ‘2 phones’, released by popular musical artist and celebrity Kevin Gates in 2015. Many phrases and songs by Kevin Gates have been trending as jokes or as joke response to videos on tiktok. The large majority of videos being responded to with ‘2 Phones’ are videos making jokes about men or containing misandristic material. (Although they are not limited to these types of videos and in some instances are used in inappropriate situations by incels.)
