Canter step (break)

When the landing or break of a jump occurs as a canter, before it transitions into any other gait.

Any time you land a jump with both arms, and then both legs, it's considered a canter step (break).

Canter step (forestep)

When the take off or lift of a jump occurs as a canter, transitioning out of whatever gait was there before the jump.

A starting jump is technically considered a canter step (forestep).

The Thalwil Two-Step - Verb - To take one step back, and one subsequent step to the side, thus avoiding the incoming issue and absolving you of responsibility.

Macguyver's Stepchild

An extremely clever individual with very little formal education. Someone kind of like Will Hunting, except more badass.

A child is scolded for coloring outside of the lines. Instead of attempting to color within them, they propose an argument that questions whether or not the lines even exist. This is "Macguyver's Stepchild"

When someone takes a fairly large step right before stopping with one or more people behind them. Usually in Marching Band.

Right before we stopped, he took a Fuck You step, leaving me way behind.
