Shorter version of suspicious or suspect. You think something fishy is going on about something or someone.
"You're sus." "That's sus." "You're being sus."

Found within the popular video game "Among Us", a slang term described as "sus" (s-UH-s), derived from the word "suspicious", which is defined as by the Oxford Dictionary as " feeling that somebody has done something wrong, illegal or dishonest, without having any proof"
It is commonly used to point out a player, in which they will often recognize and state the player's color, or assumed role, that is acting suspicious. Players will cast votes on who they think is the "impostor", the chosen player subsequently removed from the game's main gameplay by an "eject" feature. In this state of gameplay you are still allowed to play the game and your objectives as a dead player vary depending on your role that is given out at the beginning of a game. However, you cannot vote during vote casting sessions and do not contribute to the actual player count of an alive game.
