Scram Time

The hour leading up to last call at a bar or club in which patrons must quickly find their hookup for the night before leaving together. Usually the most raucous/best time to be out.

We're going to go scram at Moonies bar!

We're going to the party but we'll probably head downtown for scram time at Moonshadows Tavern.

An early 70's slang word that means get going or leave quickly. It's a combination of scram and vamoose.

"Let's scramboose before our mother shows up and sees we are eating all the cookies."

Scrammered

You have screened so many candidates throughout the day you have become hammered and are unable to make coherent thought. Typically a fuzzy feeling that one gets that is described as "loopy."

Oh my god, I'm so scrammered right now. Is it time to go home yet? I can't look at any more candidates or I'll go crazy.
