Charity

Being told where your money is going, or even being shown paperwork isnt the same as knowing where your money is going, or being in control of where your money is going, or what it's being spent on. If it seems to make sense to be suspicious of where your money is really going, that's because it does make sense to be suspicious of where your money is going.

The people collecting money from people like dishonest tax collectors claimed to be a charity, and many charities that stole from people did have official names and were official organizations. That didnt make the people running them trustworthy people. Of course they were going to keep claiming to be trustworthy, it was to their advantage to do so, that was what kept them in business.

pseudo-charity

Noun

1. (Also known as "fake charity") An organization or event which claims to fully or partially solve a problem of social welfare ("for charity"), but uses methods that do not effectively solve the problem, or solve it at the expense of creating harder-to-solve problems. This misleading nature may be intentional (e.g., for profit, for company image) or unintentional (e.g., uninformed people with good intentions)

2. A trait or aspect of one's personality, describing a person who appears to have great charity, but frankly, does not. This could be intentional or unintentional, aware or unaware.

1. She donates $30 to pseudo-charities every month, because those commercials get to her so bad. $25/month is swallowed up in bureaucracy.

The town is having a pseudo-charity run, to raise money for harsh soaps. They plan to pour them in the rivers to "clean" the waterways.

I run a pseudo-charity for a living, because "giving" is the new cool, so the market potential is vast.

Japanese War Chariot

A Japanese car produced/made 1999 or prior, the car generally resembles the great Yamato Battleship in its presence on the road, This is due to a number of things such as size, aggressive appearance or beefy appearance, history or even mystery. The car is usually unnecessarily long and wide, it could also be described as a presidential / imperialistic limo who's presence on the road could also make you feel uncomfortable. Don't be fooled though these weapons of mass destruction usually have the finest engines to be produced out of Japan and will eat your euro piece of shit for breakfast lunch and dinner.
