80's mentality

Of or pertaining to extreme dominance. This type of mentality describes that which was commonly seen during the 1980's. Competition, wealth, and power were of extremely high importance during the decade so it was both expected and common for an individual to go above and beyond on a consistent basis.

"William Wallace had an 80's mentality during the Battle of Stirling." -A reference to the scene in Braveheart when William Wallace soundly defeated the English.

Highway 80 Narcissist

A driver, usually from Forney Texas, who exits highway 80 to drive on the service road in an attempt to avoid traffic. Sometimes they will drive the service road on the westbound side, go under the bridge, then back to the eastbound side. This is because a narcissist is all about him/herself and believes that do not have to wait in traffic like everyone else.

Joe:

Damn! Look at that Highway 80 Narcissist go! He really thinks he doesn’t have to wait like the rest of us.

Jim:

I see him! He probably beats his wife also!
