When a car follows you while you're walking through a crowded parking lot, driving slightly behind you to your parking spot, just to steal your spot.

I almost called the police because some creeper was following me, but he was just doing the parking lurk.

Power Lurking

Hovering around a public power outlet - at an airport, coffee shop, book store, etc - waiting for another person to unplug their laptop or phone so you can plug in and charge up.

"Yeah, I'm power lurking at Barnes and Noble. My laptop battery is almost toast. There's one outlet but a dude is using it for his phone and laptop. I gotta hover and jump on it as soon as he splits."

lurking troll

A person who subscribes or follows a feed because it is so stupid that it makes them feel smart.

Unlike other trolls, a lurking troll won't vocalize their opinions.

Dick: I don't know Dan, I bet most of them are giving you a mutual follow or are lurking trolls. Your life is pretty sad

Lurk Finger

A subtle, obscene gesture used when you can't find the words of hatred to use against another individual (human, animal, etc.) Generally used against authority figures, such as a supervisor, superintendent, or even a bossy in-law. Gesture is performed by sliding your hand down to your thigh area, and popping an upside down middle digit.

Feelings conveyed while using this gesture are "go f*ck a hat" "sit on it and rotate" "please wash your mouth with a 12 gauge" and "I will fill your urethra with pine cones". Ladies and gentlemen, the Lurk Finger.
