alright, after reading some of these of definitions of HP. let me tell you the truth. HP is actually a very nice community. sure, there are some mean boys and girls (like there is at every other school) but it’s not ALL snobby spoiled rich kids. other schools often get mad because HP is so good at sports, and they will say “how much did you pay the referees this time?!” i’m not even gonna lie, we have a pretty high drug and alcohol rate sometimes, but come on.. that’s what makes life fun!! 😜anyways, hp is basically a private school but in the form of a public school lmao k that’s all

real convo i heard at a track meet:
“i wonder how much highland park spends on their coaches”
“ugh i know right. oh and of course their uniforms are red and gold.”

The highland kiss 

A Scottish offensive measure where one individual smashes his/her forehead into the nose of another individual.

Person A - "Ye daft bastard I'll punch ye square in the face!"
Person B - "No need ta fight laddie. How's about I Ey just give you the highland kiss!"
At which point Person B would grab the head of their enemy and slam his or her forehead into the central face area of Person A. Effectively ruining their day.

Issaquah Highlands

An area in Issaquah, Washington that is "above everything." People around here generally are rich, arrogant snobs whose kids don't care about anything except for friends and drugs. Although there are the snobby bad people, there are nice, clean people whose kids do well in school and are nice and clean like them.

The Issaquah Highlands? Pssshh, there is no way in hell that I'll let my kids become arrogant jerks.

Highland Park is a town, or some people might like to call it a "bubble." The bubble is a great place to live in. High and low class parties and all sorts of gossip are parts of the bubble. The HP bubble is a fabuluos and elegant place to live. Teen partying is something that teens are really into. At these parties they drink and smoke and do drugs. That is not one of the best qualities the town has to offer. Among our bubble ellegance is the top thing you will find.

Highland School 

A small and over priced prep-school where the most unfriendly and prudish girls and douchiest guys come to congregate, skip class, and act like they are better than everyone even though most are middle class and very few are attractive. Guys are chauvinistic and abusive for the most part, yet are still loved by many bitchy girls. Athletics are mediocre for the most part though the boys soccer and lacrosse teams have had moderate success, though athletes will talk like they are the best in the country.

A school for total bitches and losers who will be supported by mommy and daddy for their whole life.

Highland School Guy 1 to HS Girl 1: Hey there, how are you?
HS Girl 1: Hi (smiles sarcastically)
HS Girl 1 to HS Girl 2: OMG! Guy 1 is SUUUCH a weirdo! He tries to talk to me, and I'm not even his best friend! I only hooked up with him ONCE!!!
HS Girl 2: OMG girl 1, he's soo weird. I think you just ignore him. I HATE it when people are polite and friendly!
HS Girl 1: I KNOW. Polite and friendly people are so NOT normal!!
