H.N.S. is the acronym for Hood Nigga Shit.
Any act that can be deemed as ignorant, reckless, and or ghetto. This phrase can be used interchangeably with Hood Rat Shit.
When partaking in Hood Nigga Shit the person is usually being overly conscientious of their finances, ruthlessly sizing up women and trying to scrummage for drugs and alcohol.

Peter: Yo I got a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter and a butter knife in my bag. I'm not trying to spend this ten dollars I have on lunch this week.
