Something someone does sometimes to delay doing the right thing for as long as he can, for whatever reason.

My friend is pulling out all the stops, as long as he doesn't have to do the right thing, really the only thing, which is to call me, his old friend, and stop playing this game with me.

When a driver approaches an intersection (preferably a four-way stop) and no one else is there. They somewhat stop for a second and then continue on their way.

I was walking down the street the other day and this guy came to the corner and it didn't even look like he stopped at all. That's because he did a stopgo.

c-stopper

A c-stopper is the plug that fills and seals the cervical canal during pregnancy. It is formed by a small amount of cervical mucus, and can be sort of bloody.

An alternative word for those pregnant ladies who can't stand the idea of using the terms 'mucus plug' or 'bloody show' in reference to it.

"Eewwwee! I think I just popped by c-stopper! Looks like this baby might be on its way!"
