when your 50. cal explodes on cam, your jugular gets punctured and your lung collapses, and you shove your thumb and shirt into the wound to stop the bleeding and losing other fluids
Guy 1:Did you hear Scott made another 50. Cal explode?
Guy 2: No, did he Just Put A Thumb In It?
Guy 1: Nah, it was for an experiment to see why his 50. cal blew up

(Idiom) Take the simple solution to a problem instead of over-complicating it.
Origin:
The phrase comes from an anecdote about a dog that kept stealing bread left on the kitchen counter. The owner tried punishing the dog, which worked if they were home, but the problem continued whenever the dog was unsupervised. When they asked for advice, someone simply said, “Can you put the bread in the cupboard?” Sometimes the easiest fix is the most effective one.
Usage:
If a simple action will prevent an unnecessary problem, and doesn’t inconvenience you, then just “put the bread in the cupboard.”
Completely unrelated to "put the fries in the bag."

"I was totally overthinking which flavor of coffee creamer to buy. All I needed to do was put the bread in the cupboard and get both. I had a buy-one-get-one coupon, anyway."
"Your roommate situation does sound annoying, but sometimes you just have to put the bread in the cupboard. Have you tried carrying your toiletries to and from the bathroom instead of leaving them in the shower? Maybe then they'll stop using your shampoo."

Get the Put the bread in the cupboardmug. Nobody seems to get that this is a prison term. The inmates move to areas of the dorm where the officer can't see to fight/smoke/get high. When someone is to be jumped beat up and or forced out of the dorm they are put 'on glass' in that they are either beat up right in front of the officer or told to get 'on glass' in that they have to go to the glass and tell the officer that they fear for their life and have to be taken out of the dorm.
That is called being 'put on glass' This was bastardized by idiots who made it 'on blast' which is dumb and means nothing.
Being put on glass is being humiliated or called out publicly, it has nothing to do with recording or blast.
