Get the furrymug. A furry is a form of *cosplayer, it’s just a hobby where someone dresses up as a character with animal traits/features/characteristics, where someone draws* ‘anthromorphic’ characters or uses them as an avatar online. There is a small percentage of the fandom that have a ‘fur-fetish’ but most of the fandom steer clear of that stuff and usually have a not so great opinion about it, there isn’t really a set rule of how to be a furry, you can use a full fursuit, a partial, a dinomask, a therian mask, or quite literally anything! Being a furry is just a choice people make, and it’s not an identity (such as gender/sexuality) and it’s basically just a *form of ‘dress up’, most of the fandom is actually really cool! And most people get into the hobby just because they like the fandom, creativity (art/making a suit/character/etc.), or even just because they like animals (not in a sexual way) or feel a connection to them, and although there is many misconceptions, such as furries being a fetish, or having sex with animals, *overall furries are actually just cosplayers with animal traits! :)

Get the Intro furrymug. Furies are people who like anthropomorphic animals and wear fursuits, or use their own character which is known as a fursona. You don't have to own a fursuit to be furry as well but most people inside the communtity and outside of it don't really know when you are considerd a furry but most people think including myself is when you say you are a furry. And most people who dispise furries say that they act and identify as animals and are atracted to animals as well but all we do is wear costumes and have fun! trust me if your wanting to be apart of the communtity you will have lots of fun and meet many new people
