Get the Punkmug. An emerging sub cultural movement that is based on the integration of punk into the mainstream as well the emergence of punk in various music genres and subcultures that would otherwise remain the same. This is probably due to Hip-Hop culture becoming Mainstream culture and as did with rock and roll/ pop , punk was born as a rejection to that mainstream ideal. This is injunction with an internet run society that is inherently a dystopian world with utopian technology. Similar to “CyberPunk” but based more in reality.

Get the Punkmug. ”Dumpstah Punk” originated in New England circa 2013, in a Creative Writing class. Dumpstah Punk is a sub-genre of Punk music, where percussion is replaced by drumming on garbage cans, waste buckets, and recycling bins. “Dumpstah Punk” listeners often wear thrift shop finds, hand-me-downs, and other recycled attire.
That band just released a new single called "20 Miles of Barbed Wire."
