Just like the rose has thorns, people can have their hidden harmful features. When someone gets too close to to a rose bush or tries to pick the flower without precaution, end up getting hurt and 9 times out of 10, they blame the flower. This could be directly related to the fact that people blame others for they're own blindness. The flower never meant to cause harm, for it was simply existing just like the person of interest. Neither of them wanted to harm anyone but were blamed either way.
