Meaning exactly what it says, you better hope.

I originally heard it in Florida, Tampa bay area. Most people use the term improperly. Look @ Examples.

Improper:

Guy 1: You're so gay.
Guy 2: You better hope.

Proper:

Guy 1: I got the money I owe you.
Guy 2: You better hope.

Proper+Akward:

Guy 1: Good thing you like women, because us two guys hang out quite a lot.
Guy 2: You better hope I like women.

A very diverse high school located in Minnetonka, MN serving the city of Hopkins, most of Minnetonka, about half of Golden Valley, and portions of Eden Prairie, Edina, Plymouth, and St. Louis Park. Nicknamed "Potkins" for obvious reasons.

Hope

A beautiful name given to girls both intelligent and humorous. They're perfect on the inside, and have unique facial features. They love to be the center of attention but don't easily show it. Hopes often sport a dry sense of humor that sometimes goes unnoticed. She is the ultimate friend, but is sometimes too pessimistic, due to a low self esteem.
