Get the Onion traumamug. Trauma occurring in blatantly suburban things, ex: drunk parent at soccer practice. Often further developed by gaslighting because it’s not gang violence or it “could be worse.” Commonly in relation with parents, substance abuse, and the legal system. Additionally kids are often in denial or extremely defensive when someone brings up how that thing or event wasn’t normal.
