Originally billed as a largely electronic-based project, their name came from the international dialing code to the United Kingdom, where the duo first discussed doing the project. The two initially hooked up with vocalist Carol Heller of Get the Girl, but by summer 2006, rumors began swirling that she was no longer in the band. A month later, it was quietly publicized that (+44) instead included guitarists Shane Gallagher (the Nervous Return) and Craig Fairbaugh (Mercy Killers, Lars Fredericksen & the Bastards, the Forgotten). Their debut album is slated for a fall 2006 release.

It does relax you but it dries you up (nose, throat and elsewhere), makes you tired, constipated and takes away your sex drive. Your body builds up a resistance to it so you have to take more and more to get the same buzz. It's just not worth it.
