Zeta Beta Phi is a Honorary Society that started at Wells College in 2011. Membership is based off of a GPA between a 3.4-3.6 however exceptions are made depending on major GPA. This society was formed primarily for those who worked hard but could not make it into another more pretentious Honorary Society called Phi Beta Kappa.

This fraternity though it dates back to 1889 was not officially called Phi Kappa Theta until 1959 when the merge of two Greek letter catholic fraternities (Phi Kappa and Theta Kappa Phi) happened.
