Idiot Genius

An individual who by all external perceptions appears to be a run of the mill dumb ass, and engages in correspondingly stupid behavior, only to BLOW YOUR FUCKING MIND when you actually see how well they preform in school with minimal effort. The idiot genius, when in a one-on-one conversation in a limited scope seems extremely intelligent, but their activities outside of that context remain in stark contradiction to their apparent intellect.

An Idiot Genius is the Anti-Intellectual Intellectual.

John: Dude, Mike pisses me off so much!

Jim: Why?

John: He does absolutely nothing in school and is a fucking straight A-Student! Then he gets trashed almost every day of the week, smokes his brain to mush, fucks girls like there's no tomorrow, and still manages to do better in school than me! What the FUUUUUCK?

idiot box

A black, cubical, electronic "box". One side of this cube is however, bot black, but a clear "screen". When this electronic box is activated or "turned on", it flashes towards the "viewer" various images and sounds. These images and sounds are usually either fabricated in a "studio" or coming "live" from a very different place than the viewer is sitting on the couch and watching/hearing them.

left lane idiot

On some highways the far left lane is designated for passing only. (Typically with signs that read "Left Lane For Passing Only") Left lane idiots are people who stay in the left lane, even though they're not passing anyone.

I got stuck behind a left lane idiot and a slow poke in the middle lane for twenty miles.
