Spunch

A MapSport event using Satellite Punch (S-punch) technology aimed at attracting more and younger people to get out into the great outdoors with maps.

With the emphasis being on hedonistic fun, friendship and post-Spunch Social, this is not to be confused with olde-skool orienteering which is altogether more serious.

This form of Spunch is also much more wholesome than a Scrotum-Punch.

Sue and Lisa went Spunching together again last weekend at the Manchester SpunchFest. They were the top performing SpunchPair and they really let their hair down at the post-event SpunchParty

Spunch is a term to refer to any unintelligent or dumb person. In other words, a spunch is a stupid person. The term was coined in 2025 by an unknown person.

It is vaguely inspired by the meme "Spunch Bob" which is a misspelling of SpongeBob.
