The Negative Nigel has most likely never met or at least tried to talk to the person, or tried the thing or event that he judges so much. In general, the Negative Nigel is just negative about a lot of things, more than a Negative Nancy. In fact, Negative Nancy actually learned from Negative Nigel after they were together.
