yenno

Alternative form of the expression 'you know'. It is often added at the beginning of sentences to brace the listener to listen more keenly and it is also often added at the end of sentences as a form of seeking confirmation from the listener.

EX1:
Yenno, I'm pretty fed up with my boss right now.

EX2:
I just have a strong gut feeling about it, yenno?

What happens when someone says yes to something without thinking and then realizes they actually don't agree with whatever was said to them.

Occurs frequently if the person is not thinking, or if they almost reveal a secret but stop themselves at the last second.
