When you've had a couple bills or debts for a very long time and instead of decreasing the debt keeps getting larger they take on the term the "Williams" because over time your bills keep growing.

Generally used as in "the Williams sisters" which refers to two American tennis players who are sisters: Venus Williams and Serena Williams.

In recent years, they have come to own this word on account of their dominance in the sport of women's tennis and yes they have made an obscene amount of williams.
