A phrase that is used when someone hears you wrong and tries to correct you by saying what you originally said.

Tom: I went to the movies the other day.
Jim: You mean you WENT to the movies.
Tom: THAT'S WHAT I SAID!!!

That's what I said last Monday

A prickish statement brimming with undertones of adoration, playfulness and belonging often used in lieu of the longer and more appropriate: "That's what I so poorly tried to explain last Monday, but failed at when I got caught up in your smile. I am so impressed that you came to the same conclusion, if only you could see my smile instead of hearing the mumble of my foot in my mouth."

Her: *Heartfelt sentiment*

Him: "That's what I said last Monday"

<Mood is killed>

Her: "Who says that?"

Phrase added after a comment to make something completely unsexual sound sexual and usually humerus. Derived from the phrase "thats what she said" and works similar.

Not what I said or what happened

And that is another example of them using "me calling into question whether or not something was the case" and attributing it to me as a claim I made or what actually happened. This time it's bringing up the 30 rock episode I myself invoked and then saying "Yeah, actually, that's what actually happened. It was the thing you said." These people are not serious actors and want nothing more than to take things away from people. Their position on the matter at hand is ALWAYS contingent on something I've said previously. They agree on it beforehand. And coming from a political party that is little more than chanting slogans and screeching in the streets, they are doing a lot to mask how shrill they are actually being. And that's all this is. Upity liberals whose entire personality is sarcasm, being shrill because they want people to get away with stealing from or harming me. Because instead of stopping school shootings like me... They were doing THIS to me. They waited YEARS for it. You are not the consequences of my actions. You are trying to provoke and action out of me and I'd you want it to be anything other than child murder you are going to be sorely disappointed. And if not...

Hym "Not what I said or what happened. This nothing more using what I said to craft a narrative for the sole purpose making me fail. These people need to be dismissed. They aren't taking any of this seriously and yet, for some reason, expect me to do what they will not. They do not think they personally will be negatively affected by what they are doing to me here and if it's YOU and not me they are going to have nothing for your other than Sam Sedar's rehearsed 'I'm sorry I didn't know.' But he DID know. They all knew because I told them. They did as much as possible to obfuscate what is actually the case and who I actually am and they want to be rewarded for doing that. Why waste time sifting through what are clearly not-so-carefully constructed that all involve using my own words against me? Why even indulge them? And are you going to indulge them when they do it to you?"

That's what Shi'i said

The Muslim variation of the phrase "that's what she said". It is used as a joke when someone accidently uses a sexually suggestive phrase. This is, of course, ironic, seeing as a devoted Muslim wouldn't use a phrase like "that's what shi'i said" anyway.

Abdul: That thing is huge!
Achmed: That's what shi'i said!

Abdul: Last night was awesome.
Achmed: That's what shi'i said!
