Verb: To Vip. To rub the fingernail of your index finger along a cardboard box in a large retail store, so that it makes an audible 'vip' sound.

What are you doing? Oh, I'm at Target, vipping the boxes on the way back to electronics. I hear they have Golden Girls on Blu-Ray.
