Get the Thooterbop mug.A pejorative term for adult transgender men and women, or nonbinary adults, who interact with underage children, in person or online, and are perceived to "groom" said children for the purposes of future sexual interactions (before or after the child reaches the age of consent), or simply to influence the child concerning their gender identity and sexuality (without the knowledge of their parents).
Troomer is widely used in memes on 4Chan, Reddit, etc.
Memes typically show a trans wojak discussing sex and sexuality with a child online, list behaviors and motivations, or simply place the image with screencaps of tweets and messageboard posts by trans women expressing a desire to interact with children in restrooms, locker rooms, sleepovers, etc.
Less commonly, the biologically female enby wojak is shown teaching a classroom of young children about pronouns and puberty blockers, or asking age-inappropriate sexual questions in a school environment.
Often the Troomer is shown as a furry, likely due to widely-shared news stories of transgender furries grooming or sexually assaulting children.
