Slagging

The addition of superfluous material (SLAG) to a “news story”, the addition of which is designed to prejudice the recipient’s response to “news”, thus guaranteeing that the recipient will “comprehend” and “understand” the story correctly—in the manipulative lights of those responsible for said slagging. NPR and Clearchannel are equally guilty but from opposite ends of the political spectrum since both “clue” the listener about the “correct” response to the story moreso than giving out raw data for the listener to evaluate.

I.E. the application of Bernays-esque “spin doctoring” to influence public perception while pretending to the objectivity of reporting. Political Correctness and Neo-Con Righteousness are equally guilty of the abuse. So named from “SLAG”, the impurities burned and refined out of raw material in metal working.

Slaggage

friend of the female you are trying to have sexual relations with that continually infringes upon your advancement attempts of a sexual nature.

After targeting a potential slag at the local bar I began to make advancements in order to get woo this unexpecting young lady, after feeling I had done my do diligence I decided it was time to close the deal and bring her home only for her slaggage to deny my attempts each time.

Slaggish

Having an origin in football sporting rivalry, a word that describes a prominent element of British pub culture. Usually in a group of people over a drink the objective is to slander and belittle one or several of the people to try and impress and entertain others in the same group. The sharpest, wittiest and quickest person that is the most successful in belittling and offending others is considered elevated in the perceived pub social heirarchy.

Commonly referred to as "piss-taking", or "sledging", and one of the English sins featured in a recent British Television documentary series titled "The Seven Sins of England".

The Celtic supporter left the pub because he could not tolerate the slaggish behaviour of the Rangers fans.
