Soddened

It means something similar to the traditional term saddened, but the cause of the state is specifically due to a miserable sod passing their misery to the soddened individual by some various means. Most often soddening occurs to those who love the sod or need something from the sod, to those who don't expect their beloved sod would choose to hurt them, and are made sick with the sodness of betrayal and abandonment by the unhappy sod.

The condition may be temporary. Sometimes those who experience it wise up. Other times healing takes place between sod and saddened. Unfortunately, often the soddened make a habit of falling prey to this condition.

This can happen to anybody, lovers, friends, or kids of miserable sods.

Her: What happened to Joelle? She is not herself these days.

Gossip monger: haven't you heard? Bruce just was being Bruce, and he's an unhappy ol sod, but she took it personally, and now she's totally soddened.

Her: Sucks to be her...

Bruce: (who happens to be walking by) Sucks to be me! Nobody cares how I was soddened!

Her: I thought Joelle cared...

Sudden Shit Syndrome (SSS)

The frequent occurrence of when you're getting ready to head out with your friends, go to work, school, go on a hot date, etc, and you get the sudden urge to take a ten pound dump; this isn't just any ordinary dump, it's the kind where it's absolutely necessary and takes you at least ten minutes to excrete, thus causing you to be late.

Guy 1: Dude, why are you always late for class?
Guy 2: It's kind of embarrassing. I had to take a huge dump.
Guy 1: WTF?
Guy 2: I have Sudden Shit Syndrome (SSS).

Suddenly Handsome Syndrome

Expat slang. Same meaning as an LBH or Loser Back Home. A directionless male expat who leaves his home country for a developing economy country and is viewed as "handsome" and "successful" by the local women.

Ted is a total LBH with Suddenly Handsome Syndrome because he's lived in Asia for over 30 years and is on his third hot wife. Back in North America, he'd be nothing more than a pathetic, short, annoying dude who speaks Mandarin.
