poormanteau

A portmanteau of "poor man" and "portmanteau". Signifies a word that is a feeble attempt at creating a portmanteau or a feeble attempt at slang in general. It arises most often when someone consciously tries to come up with a slang word or phrase.
The linguistics professor knew much about language, but the slang he came up with was riddled with poormanteaus.

"Poormanteau" is clearly a poormanteau, and perhaps the only meta-poormanteau.

Portmanteauwned

Adj.: Port-maun-TONED.

Used to describe being targeted by a particularly clever insult or witticism that uses a portmanteau, or combination of two or more words, as a punchline. It can also be used sarcastically, for example after an especially weak pun.

The word is a portmanteau itself, of "portmanteau" and "owned." As a result, timely usage of the word can count as an example of itself.

"Don't you mean a...poultrygiest?"
