The act of announcing oneself or adding emphasis to by trumpeting a phlegm-fueled harrumph-pa-rum-pum-pum-pum attack on unsuspecting eardrums.

Thar he blows again! Much to everyone’s annoyance, Captain Phlegm-Ahem announced his presence from behind the cubicle by coughing up a white whale and launching a series of lung biscuits over bow.

Ahoy matey, stick a cough drop in it! Or; better yet, stop being such a Moby Dick call in sick!

Phlegm Puff

The creamy tan-gray stalactites that you cough up during strenuous activity. These throat boulders are actually congealed food particles that congregate behind your tonsils and conspire to damage your breath at the worst possible moment.

If pressed between fingers, the phlegm puff will produce a smell that is not unlike a fallen angel's anus. It has also been compared to what the inside of an old hobo's foot must smell like.

I was spotting Carl on the bench press when he coughed up a phlegm puff on his t-shirt.

phlegm douche

The act of coughing up and depositing up a large-ish dollop of phlegm in order to lubricate an orifice, usually the vagina or anus. Since mucus is more slippery than plain saliva, it is valued as a sexual lubricant.

That candy-kid raver girl was so totally out of it that I had to give her a phlegm douche just to get it in her butt.
