Reference to one whos hair is unusually curly and in some instances, considerably long and knotted, as if it should be growing out of an oxen's ass. Caked fecal matter as well as twigs and brambles may be present as well. A good visual example would be the "Musk Ox".

Olly olly oxen free is a phrase used in children's games, which is generally used to indicate that people who are hiding (in a game of hide and seek, for example) can safely come out into the open.

originally all ye, all ye, "outs" are free. meaning the one looking for you will call "olly, olly, oxen free" and the one in hiding can come out of hiding and not be tagged as "it" (the next one looking for all the ones hiding)

Bush should have just yelled "oly oly oxen free" and maybe Bin Laden , Worlds greatest hide-and-seek player, might have come out earlier.

It's getting late so olly olly olly oxen free,
All the bad girls come cheer with me.
Love's a drug that got me on the run.
I'm just another victim of the bad girls club.

1) Roughly translated to "Come out come out wherever you are."
2) Term commonly used in the game hide-and-seek. It is used when the seeker gives up and all hiders are allowed a free walk to the base so a new seeker can be chosen.
