Fictional creature invented by Dr Seuss characterised by its bird-like qualities such as having wings, a beak, typically avian feet, despite being a biped and having no known use for its wings. In its book of origin, the Noothgrush stands on top of the toothbrush bristles of a young boy, much to the boy’s dismay.

Sorry, I can’t brush my teeth right now because there’s a noothgrush on my toothbrush.
